THE ART OF
JACQUELINE GROENEVELD

MY WORK

My name is Jacqueline ‘jacq’ Groeneveld. I was born in the city of Leiden in The Netherlands, where I began drawing at a young age. During my primary school in Voorschoten, I was full of admiration for my dear teacher Miss Rose who drew beautiful chalk drawings on the board. Fairytale forest, cuddly bunnies, mushrooms, gnomes, all in the most beautiful colors drawn on that black plate. I loved it. In my collection there is a drawing with pastel chalk on black paper 'my favourites'. Miss Rose was certainly my inspiration for 'A way of life'.

The collection of markers and pencils grew steadily and many  of the sweet people and animals in my surroundings have served as models for my work.

During the covid pandemic, I found myself with a significant amount of free time in addition to my regular job. I decided to use this time to pursue my passion for painting. I even created an Instagram page to showcase my work. I began receiving orders for my paintings, some of which are featured on this website. Through years of practice and dedication I have accumulated lots of experience. I am proud of my portfolio and the accomplishments I have achieved.
